On October 14, almost $260,000 was raised at the Hagar Charity Golf Tournament in Singapore!
After a 2-year suspension during the pandemic, the event returned and generated a lot of interest, with all 36 flights sold! Funds were raised from sponsorship canvassing, novelty games and selling flights.
Despite the morning rain and initial lightning alert, golfers cheered in excitement and anticipation as they set off in their buggies for the shotgun once the skies cleared. Greeted with bright smiles and exceptional hospitality from staff and volunteers throughout the event, golfers had an incredible time golfing for the cause.
Volunteers were spotted throughout the club, in iconic red Hagar shirts, passionately pitching for us through various games and activities to raise funds. Others prepared the dinner setup in the ballroom.
It was an absolutely epic day and with an evening of celebration and prizes, everyone left in high spirits, all ready to take on the next Hagar golf event in 2023.
