Hagar International is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jules Frost as our new Chief Executive Officer, effective 7 April 2025.
Jules Frost brings an impressive career spanning over two decades in international humanitarian and development work, NGO leadership, and public and government advisory roles.
Throughout her career, Jules has held senior positions at World Vision, including Regional Team Leader for East Africa, Emergency Response and Disaster Mitigation Director, and Global Field Operations Director. She has been instrumental in global humanitarian efforts, including the Asia Tsunami Response, advancing civil-military coordination efforts, and mobilizing high-net-worth donor engagement.
Following her tenure at World Vision, Jules led Medair’s global programs and operations as Director of International Programs based in Switzerland, where she focused on strategic growth and sustainable funding. Her leadership also extended to advancing quality and accountability in the humanitarian sector as Head of Programs and Partnerships for the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) Alliance in Geneva. Most recently, Jules served as Civil Society Engagement Advisor for the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) and the Australian Civil-Military Centre (ACMC).
Having served on the Hagar Australia Board since 2023, Jules is well acquainted with Hagar and her values are deeply aligned. Driven by an unwavering commitment to justice, Jules has dedicated her career to alleviating suffering and supporting the most vulnerable. Her passion for creating sustainable, impactful change aligns seamlessly with Hagar’s vision of communities free and healed from the trauma of human trafficking, slavery, and abuse.
Jules holds a Master’s in International Communication and International Development from American University and a Bachelor’s in Public Relations from Pepperdine University. She is eager to bring her vast experience, strategic vision, and values-driven leadership to Hagar, furthering our work to create lasting, positive change, healing and empowerment for survivors of human trafficking and abuse.
We are excited to welcome Jules as our new CEO, confident that with her leadership, Hagar will continue to fulfill its vision of communities free and healed from the trauma of human trafficking, slavery and abuse.
