Don Lord, Executive Director
Don is Executive Director of Hagar NZ and previously worked for World Vision in New Zealand and Mongolia. Don has been involved in research on Trafficking in Cambodia and worked with local Mongolian project staff on the formulation of an anti-Trafficking project. He has also had extensive involvement in developing tools to work with trafficked women and children in Cambodia, National Child Protection standards and systems in Mongolia and global Children in Crisis initiatives. In 2011 Don co-founded the NZ Network Against People Trafficking (NZNAPT) , a coalition of more than 50 organisations and is currently on its steering committee.
Sarah Scott-Webb, Promotions Manager
Sarah is Promotions Manager for Hagar NZ and has also worked for World Vision, where her work included developing an anti-trafficking campaign in conjunction with WV Australia. She has also worked with Hagar’s Aftercare programme in Cambodia, doing music therapy with 4-14yr old girls rescued from sex slavery. Sarah is a member of the NZ Network Against People Trafficking, and has a Post Grad Diploma in Applied Theology, focussing on theological issues surrounding modern day slavery. Sarah also has a Masters in International Relations (Deakin University, Melbourne), specialising in the legal, cultural and gender issues surrounding human trafficking.
