1996 Hagar On Time (then known as Hagar Crafts) starts with the vision to provide women from the Hagar Shelter income generating opportunities. 23 women are employed. |

Construction of the new shelter in Phnom Penh |

Hagar opens a foster home for children,
located separately from the women’s shelter. |

Hagar Catering and Hagar Soya
begin operations;
soya milk which is sold from
hand carts in the city, Phnom Penh. |

Hagar begins installing water filters in rural
communities.
Over 30,000 filters have since
been installed,
ensuring families have access
to clean water, drastically reducing disease. |

2000 House of Smiles, a residential care facility for

Hagar establishes a Community Learning Center (CLC), a school that provides “catch-up” education to serve children who have fallen behind their grade level including children from the surrounding community |
2006 Implemented a Nutritional Fortification Program of Soya Milk targeting the Social Sector Market (School Feeding Programs) |

2007 Nestle Co., Ltd donates a factory to Hagar Cambodia,
Career Pathways program is implemented, an innovative approach to job training and work placement.
Hagar’s children’s department instigates the Community Based Care program which seeks to place children in foster families within the community. |
