Educating yourself about human trafficking, sexual exploitation, and abuse is the first step.  In doing so, you’ll discover God’s heart for the oppressed.  You’ll equip yourself with the tools to be the Lord’s “hands and feet.” As you share Hagar’s work, your impact will be multiplied many times over. Here’s how you can get started:

  • Book Study. Read God in Brothel, by Daniel Walker with your small group. Learn more about the book and discussion guide.
  • Teach Church Youth.  Children and teens learn about the Biblical story of Hagar, Cambodian culture, Hagar’s education program and/or human trafficking.  Download the curriculum.
  • Study Scripture using Hagar Bible study materials about the biblical story of Hagar in Genesis.  Contact us to request the materials
  • Learn and Reflect.  Use Hagar’s six-week prayer guide.  The guide provides factual information, quotes from clients, and prayers. Download the prayer guide.
  • Watch Hagar Videos during church or in a small group. View our videos here (links to video page) or contact us to request a DVD (links to dvd request form).
  • Host a Movie Night at your house or church. For a list of movies, download “involve your church.” (links to pdf)
  • Invite a Hagar speaker to your church or missions conference. Request a speaker here or call us at 715-514-2294.
